Alan Rickard is the lead singer in Irish band Evora. He is also from the same village as me and I opened for his band when they had their album launch in may 2013. He came to the studio for a day and didn't eat anything all day, I think he drank one glass of water. This amazed me as I'm sure he used his hunger to write the song! We were a bit pushed for time at the end so the mixing got neglected a bit. The nature of this project is to create something in 8 hours and if you've a flawed piece of work at the end you have to leave it in. Having said this I love the middle 8th in this song its one of the sweetest things I've ever co-created!
