This tune was written and recorded within an 8 hour period in the summer of 2013. It was really hot that summer. The idea behind the #songin1day project was to have nothing pre-written. People aren't allowed pop into the studio and be "Hey man I've got this riff I've been working on" Anything thats created has to come into existence within the 8 hours we set ourselves. So Rob mentioned that he was out walking with his dog the previous day and that she kept trying to get out of the blistering heat. Hence "Black Dog She Don't Like The Sun".

Rob Spencer also plays bass for Dublin band Selfless Good Deeds.
